Who hasn’t seen a Baby on Board sign in their lifetime? This got me to thinking—what about the rest of us? It’s easy to forget (raising hand) when someone cuts you off on the highway or lays on the horn at the stop light—that we are all humans and it’s really not personal. This sign may serve as a reminder that we are all in this together—on the road.
Yes, it’s true…I’m a sucker for good design. During my hunt and purchase of my new car this week—it struck me—just how much of a designer I am. How typical and obvious could my choice be? A new silver VW Jetta, of course. This sparked an idea for a bumper sticker* design.
*Disclaimer: I won’t be putting any bumper sticker on this puppy, any time soon.
These were the original concepts that I created for The Tempest poster for The Ragged Wing Ensemble. I really liked some of the hidden meaning and visual play of these, but in the end, they wanted something a bit more literal.
This was an alternate concept for the SF Opera Center seasonal brochure. While I think the final concept was an appropriate and good design, this concept was a lot of fun and a bit more edgy.
This was an Identity created for The Coalition of Essential Schools yearly Fall Forum. At the end of the day, they went with a more image-based design, though I quite liked this concept.
